Golfers competing in the Professional division may play practice rounds on the tournament course, Irv Warren Golf Course, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the tournament week. The staff at Irv Warren encourages you to come out at your convenience and they will get you out on the course for your practice rounds. Complementary practice rounds will be offered to Pros registered to play in the Professional division on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the week of the tournament. Practice rounds cannot be played on Thursday at Irv Warren Golf Course due to the Pro-Sponsor Tournament. Players are welcome to show up and walk the course throughout the day on Thursday, but players are prohibited from taking any clubs on the course during that time. The putting green and practice area will be available for use throughout the day on Thursday.
There is an area at Irv Warren Golf Course to hit shag balls, but golfers will need to provide and pick up their own golf balls. Golfers are also welcome to visit Cedar Valley Golf Center to hit range balls. Cedar Valley Golf Center is not affiliated with the Waterloo Open and golfers will have to purchase range balls at this location.
Waterloo Golf Headquarters, located less than 2 miles from Irv Warren Golf Course, will have extended driving range hours during the week of the Waterloo Open. The range will be open Thursday from 7am- dark. Friday - Sunday hours are 6am- dark. Please visit the website for more information and directions. Sunnyside Country Club will not be open for use by Professionals during this year’s Waterloo Open unless the pro is accompanied by a member of Sunnyside Country Club.
Pros are allowed to use push/pull carts during the Waterloo Open. Motorized carts are not allowed.
Amateurs are allowed carts for the first two rounds of the Amateur Division tournament at both South Hills and Gates Park. Cart Reservations can be made in advance for Gates Park only - Please contact course pro.
Tee times for each round of the tournament typically begin at 6:30AM, with the latest tee times around 1:00PM (depending on the size of the field). Friday and Saturday tee times will be posted no later than the Wednesday before the tournament. Championship round tee times will be posted shortly after the conclusion of play on Saturday.
