Professional Practice Rounds

Complimentary practice rounds at Irv Warren Memorial are available Monday (after 2pm), Tuesday (before 3pm), and Wednesday of tournament week. Monday-Wednesday are first come, first serve. A tee time is required for Thursday morning at Irv Warren (call 319-234-9271). The Pro-Sponsor event also serves as an additional practice round opportunity.

Complimentary practice rounds at Gates Park & South Hills are available Tuesday, July 14 – Thursday, July 16. All days are first come, first served

 Putting greens and practice areas at all three courses are available throughout the day on Thursday.

 There is an area at Irv Warren Golf Course to hit shag balls, but golfers will need to provide and pick up their own golf balls. Golfers are also welcome to visit Cedar Valley Golf Center to hit range balls. Cedar Valley Golf Center is not affiliated with the Waterloo Open and golfers will have to purchase range balls at this location. 

Waterloo Golf Headquarters, located less than 2 miles from Irv Warren Golf Course, will have extended  driving range hours during the week of the Waterloo Open.  The range will be open Thursday from 7am- dark.  Friday - Sunday hours are 6am- dark. Professionals & Amateurs are allowed to use carts for all three rounds of the tournament at Gates Park, South Hills, and Irv Warren Memorial. 

Tee times for each round of the tournament typically begin at 6:30AM, with the latest tee times around 1:30PM (depending on the size of the field). Friday and Saturday tee times will be posted no later than the Tuesday before the tournament. Championship round tee times will be posted shortly after the conclusion of play on Saturday.
